Lubbock, Texas — The Lubbock Reese Redevelopment Authority (LRRA) announces that it will formally discontinue the use of the “Reese Technology Center” name and will move forward operating solely under its official legal name, Lubbock Reese Redevelopment Authority.

For many years, the property and operations managed by LRRA were widely recognized under the DBA (“Doing Business As”) Reese Technology Center. While the name served the organization well during a significant period of redevelopment and growth, the Authority is now simplifying its brand identity to reflect the organization’s official name and governance structure.

The decision to retire the DBA aligns with LRRA’s collaboration with Texas Tech University and the newly formed Reese National Security Complex. Moving forward, all communications, branding, legal documentation, and public-facing materials will refer to the organization solely as the Lubbock Reese Redevelopment Authority.

The name transition will be implemented across all digital platforms, signage, marketing materials, and official communications over the coming months.
